Privacy Policy
Onohome agrees to protect the privacy of individuals and the confidentiality of any supplied personal information, in compliance with the Computer, Files and Civil Liberties Act No 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, and EU Regulation No 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.
As part of its activities, Onohome makes available to its clients an e-commerce service accessible from the www.onohome.com website.
Onohome collects personal data concerning the users.
In its capacity as data controller, Onohome, a French one-member simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital of EUR 5,000, having its registered office at 1 Rue Beaujon and 14 Avenue Friedland, 75008 PARIS, registered with the Paris Commerce and Companies Registry under the number 888 576 665, agrees to comply with the provisions of (EU) Regulation No 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
Purposes of the collection of your personal data
The collection of the information and data concerning you that are requested by Onohome, as data controller, shall make in particular the following possible:
- Recording and monitoring of your order, including the management of deliveries and after-sales service
- Commercial management of your file through a customer relation service
- Sending of tailored commercial offers by email, through social networks or on any other medium
- Prevention of fraud upon payment of the order.
Transmission of your data
Your data may be transmitted to partners of Onohome, which may process the data on their behalf and according to the instructions issued by Onohome.
In accordance with Article 35 of the Computer, Files and Civil Liberties Act No 78-17 of 6 January 1978, such subcontractors agree to comply with the security and confidentiality of your data.
Personal data retention period
Onohome shall retain the personal data solely during the time necessary to reach the pursued objective, to respond to the Clients’ needs or in order to meet its statutory obligations.
As a general rule, the personal data are stored in the Onohome database:
- If the user is a “client” (i.e. if the user has already bought an Onohome product or has used one of Onohome’s services): for a period not exceeding 10 years from the date of the first purchase; such period shall be renewed upon each further interaction with Onohome (e.g. a purchase)
- If you are a “prospect” (i.e. if you have never bought any Onohome product, but you are interested in the Onohome trademark): for a period of 3 years from collection of your data; such period shall be renewed each time you interact with Onohome (e.g. you participate in an event)
- If you are a candidate (i.e. you apply for a position offered by Onohome): for a period of 2 years from the date of your application.
If cookies are installed on your computer, we maintain them for a period not exceeding 13 months. When we shall no longer need your personal data, they shall be deleted from our systems and our records, or they shall be anonymised so that they can no longer allow for your identification.
Your rights
Under the Computer, Files and Civil Liberties Act No 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, you have a right of access to and rectification of your personal data, a right to oppose their processing and a right of erasure.
Furthermore, under EU Regulation No 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, you may, in your capacity as an individual, exercise your right to the limitation of the processing and to the erasure of your data starting from 25 May 2018.
Please find below a recapitulation of your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to receive information: you are entitled to receive clear, transparent and comprehensible information concerning the manner in which we use your personal data and concerning your rights. You will find the whole of such information in this policy.
- Right of access: you have the right to access any personal data that Onohome holds in respect of you.
- Right of rectification: you have the right to procure the rectification of your personal data if they are inaccurate or obsolete and / or to ask that they be supplemented if they are incomplete.
- Right to erasure/right to oblivion: you have the right to procure the erasure or deletion of your data. However, such right may be limited on legal grounds or may be restricted by our legitimate interest in retaining your personal data.
- Right to oppose any direct marketing: you may, at any time, ask that you no longer receive our communications related to our offers, news and events. You may do so in particular by using the hypertext link provided to that end in each email that we send to you. You may also ask to receive non-customised communications concerning our products and services.
- Right to withdraw at any time your consent in relation to any consent-based data processing: you may withdraw your consent as regards our processing of your data where such processing is based on your consent.
- Right to data portability: you have the right to move, copy or transfer data from our database to another database. Such right applies only to the data that you have supplied, provided that the processing is based on an agreement or on your consent and is made through automated processes.
You also have the right to contact your country’s data protection authority, and you may lodge a complaint against Onohome’s privacy and data protection practices.
You may exercise these rights and you may ask any questions or lodge any complaints concerning the processing of your personal data by sending a letter to Onohome’s Customer Relations Service, 1 Rue Beaujon and 14 Avenue de Friedland 75008 Paris, and by attaching a copy of your identity document.

When you access our website, we may, subject to your consent, affix to your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet), a text file by using your browser.
