Giuseppe Viganò's Eye dining table for Pietro Costantini distills a century of Italian woodworking into a single, arresting form. Handcrafted in Italy at the workshop in San Giovanni al Natisone — active since 1922 — this designer dining table transforms structural engineering into visual poetry, where every joint disappears and every curve earns its place.
Four corner legs, each fully wrapped in solid wood, rise and merge into the tabletop with seamless continuity. The oval-inspired geometry of each leg lends the table its name and its presence — an open eye at every corner, watchful and composed. By eliminating the traditional apron, Viganò frees the entire perimeter for unobstructed seating, so the structure serves the ritual of gathering rather than constraining it. The specialized joinery required to achieve this wrapped integration speaks quietly of hands that have shaped wood across generations.
Available in three configurations — 200×110 cm for intimate dinners of six to eight, 250×110 cm seating eight to ten with ease, or the commanding 310×120 cm format that welcomes twelve around a single surface. Each scale suits a different architecture: the compact version for urban dining rooms, the mid-size for open-plan living, the grandest for formal reception spaces and hospitality settings. Wood finishes and tabletop materials can be specified to match any interior palette.

Frequently asked questions
Can I customize the finish to match an existing interior scheme?
Pietro Costantini offers a range of wood finishes and tabletop material options tailored to your project. Contact us with your specifications and we will confirm available selections.
How much clearance should I plan around the table?
Allow at least 80 cm between the table edge and walls or furniture for comfortable chair movement. The corner leg design means no central support intrudes on legroom, so seating positions remain unrestricted along every side.
