Collection: Gan Rugs

Gan-Rugs Onohome

The rug as a field for creation

The interior branch of the Valencian group GandiaBlasco, GAN was born from an audacious reinvention: in the late 1980s, José Gandía-Blasco redirected the family's textile business — founded in 1941 — towards a world of interior rugs and textiles with a resolutely creative ambition. In 2004, Mapi Millet took over as artistic director and shaped the outlines of a singular house where ancestral craftsmanship and curiosity for new techniques are in permanent dialogue.

Certified GoodWeave — guaranteeing production free of child labour — GAN collaborates with leading names in global design to deliver rugs, cushions, poufs and textile objects that reimagine the inhabited floor. Every collection is an invitation to rethink the space from its foundations.

Designers

Patricia Urquiola

World-renowned architect and designer, Patricia Urquiola has collaborated with GAN to create some of the house's most celebrated collections. Her Mangas Space collection — launched in 2010 — transforms the rug into a total object, combining generous textures, configurable modules and bold chromaticism to compose interior spaces of rare poetry.

Designers

Charlotte Lancelot

Belgian designer with an immediately recognisable graphic language, Charlotte Lancelot created for GAN the Canevas collection: a contemporary reinterpretation of cross-stitch in wool and felt, turning the floor into a living canvas. Her mastery of textile codes and her taste for gentle geometry make her an essential voice in the house's catalogue.
