A family affair

About Onohome

Onohome didn't start as a tech project or a brand exercise.
It started over 65 years ago in Paris, as a family furniture business founded by Hubert Taieb.

Furniture has always been part of our daily life — not as objects, but as things people live with, touch, move around, and keep for years. That way of thinking hasn't changed.

What has changed is how we work with clients today.

We don't sell "products". We work on spaces.

Most of our clients don't come to us looking for a specific sofa or table.
They come with a space, constraints, questions — sometimes doubts.

Our job is to help make sense of that.

We work with European manufacturers we know well, mainly in Italy, and with pieces that can be adapted: dimensions, materials, finishes, configurations. Nothing is pushed. Nothing is automatic.

We take time to understand how a space is used, how people live in it, and what actually makes sense long-term.

Technology is just a tool. People do the work.

We use technology because it helps clarity — not because it's impressive.

Our 3D configurator allows clients to see proportions, materials, and options clearly, without guessing.
But the most important part happens outside the screen.

With the Onohome Scan App (available on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro), our team captures accurate spatial data directly from the client's space. From there, an in-house designer takes over.

A real person.
Someone who selects pieces, adjusts proportions, and builds a proposal that actually fits the space — not just visually, but practically.

What matters to us

We care about things lasting.
About decisions being well thought-out.
About clients understanding what they're buying — and why.

Onohome is not about volume or trends.
It's about doing things properly, the same way we've always done — just with better tools.
