Solid wood tops are obtained from tree trunks, in particular from the heartwood, the innermost and oldest part of trees.

Each top has unique features in terms of grain, due to the natural origin of the material.
To reach the widths necessary for the realization of a top for domestic use, several pieces are joined together, trying to maintain homogeneity.Wood is then finished with a protective varnish.
Due to the completely natural origin of solid wood, it is impossible to produce two identical tops, and this is why every top turns out to be different from the other.

The parts made of solid wood, if exposed to strong changes in temperature and / or humidity can show deformations or small cracks: these characteristics are to be considered completely natural (not imperfections), determined by the change in environmental conditions.The wood used is of European origin.
On request, it can be supplied with certified origin from forests managed in a correct and responsible manner, according to the rigorous environmental standards established by the FSC circuit.
