Overview
The metal used for all of the production of Hugues Chevalier is stainless steel.
Although it is less subject to rusting, it is not recommended for outdoor use.
The bronze finish is done by hand, and cannot be identical from one item to the next; the colours may therefore vary compared to the samples provided.
- To maintain bronze furniture regularly dust with a soft cloth and clean using a mild soap solution or specialized bronze cleaner
- Apply a thin coat of wax for protection and to preserve its luster
- Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the surface
- Protect outdoor bronze furniture from the elements with clear coatings like lacquer
- Periodically inspect for corrosion and address any issues promptly to prevent further damage
