Since 1987, Midj has operated from northeastern Italy, collaborating with independent designers to produce furniture that moves between residential and hospitality settings with equal confidence. This designer counter stool, handcrafted in Italy, captures that dual fluency — sculptural enough to anchor a room, restrained enough to disappear into one.

Two curved metal tubes trace a continuous line from floor to backrest, forming the skeleton around which everything else resolves. Upholstery wraps this framework without interruption, so the eye follows a single unbroken silhouette rather than a collection of parts. The steel feet accept a range of finishes — a quiet detail that allows the Pippi to echo the brushed nickel of a tap or the matte black of a cabinet pull, binding itself to the architecture it inhabits.
